Selling from abroad or out of state
If you own a Miami property and live elsewhere, I make selling simple. I handle showings, paperwork, and closing remotely, so you do not need to be in Florida to sell well. If you are a foreign owner, your sale also involves a federal withholding called FIRPTA, generally 15 percent of the sale price, held at closing and credited back when you file your US tax return. I coordinate with your CPA and the title company so it is handled correctly and there are no surprises at the table.
